Sotogrande Cultural Assoc’s Mosayko Life Art Event – May2012

Mosayko Life Art – Launch Event on Friday 4th May 2012 organised by the Sotogrande Cultural Association and directed by Carmen Jimenez, who was previously responsible for organising a similar event in Tarifa

We attended the grand opening of a new weekly event which is to be held each Friday during this Summer in the Plaza de los Naranjos in the Port of Sotogrande.

This opening event saw nearly 40 artists here today – many of them demonstrating their work live – for us to see and enjoy.

It is hoped that once both local people and visitors start to hear about the exciting possibilities here in the ‘square’ that this will attract many more exhibitors.

Furthermore, with the full support of the Sotogrande Port Authority to stage this event every Friday it can only go from strength to strength.

And just to add to the atmosphere a saxophonist playing live! music is being planned for next week’s event.

Ad Van-Loon told us that his aim is to make the square here in Sotogrande feel like the Place du Tetre in Paris – with it’s unique situation right in the centre of the Marina.

If you would like any further information – either to exhibit your own art work or just come and browse we have put Ad Van-Loon’s contact details below:
